Necessary for the residence visa process
Before the appointment:
The date of your interview appointment is indicated in the letter you received from the National Visa Center or from the Applicant Assistance Center (CAS). IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to have the complete results of the medical examination BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT AT THE CONSULATE; therefore, we suggest you arrange the medical examination procedures one or two days in advance.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or petitioner. If dad, mom or petitioner cannot go, they must send a notarized letter with the seal and signature of the notary.
By indications of the US Consulate in Cd. Juárez and in accordance with the preventive measures for the control of risks due to COVID-19, during your consular appointment, your companions will be able to wait comfortably in the areas that we have prepared for them either in the clinic facilities or in our WWA (Welcome and Waiting Area), located next to the Consulate.
REMEMBER: During the application and interview process for a visa you must tell the truth and provide complete and correct information. Failing to do so, the processing of your visa may be delayed or you may be found ineligible for a visa, which otherwise it might have been approved.
Requirements to request an Appointment:
NVC appointment sheet, all pages with the names of each applicant.
It is not necessary that you present a photograph for your medical examination; we will provide it for free.
Requirements for your medical examination:
- Appointment sheet issued by the Consulate, all pages with the names of each applicant. (Immigrant visas).
- Closed envelope issued by the Embassy or Consulate in the interior of the republic (Nonimmigrant visas).
- Valid ORIGINAL passport. Copy for nonimmigrant visa applicants.
- Vaccination card (Visa K fiancé does not apply).
- If you wear glasses it is necessary that you present them at the time of your examination.
- You do not need to stop the medication you are currently taking.
ADULTS (Over 15 years old)
- We recommend that you schedule your appointment at least 2 business days before your consular appointment.
- You can have something light breakfast before the medical exam such as fruit, coffee or juice.
- If you are taking any medication or are under medical treatment you should bring a letter from your doctor, your medication and prescription (s).
- The results of your exam will be ready the same day which will be sent directly to the Consulate electronically. The next day you can pick up PROOF from the clinic that validates that your medical exam was completed, an essential requirement for your appointment at the Consulate.

MINORS (Between +2 - 14 years old)
- Go at least 2 business days before your consular appointment.
- You can have a light breakfast before the medical exam such as fruit or juice.
- The results will be ready in 24 hours.

REQUIRED: It is essential that you download, fill out and present the day of your medical exam the document to download in the "Personal Data Sheet" button. After downloading the file you will be able to fill in the fields in the same document digitally and then print it. Results:
FROM MAY 3 the results of your exam will be ready the same day which will be sent directly to the Consulate electronically. The next day you can pick up PROOF from the clinic that validates that your medical exam was completed, an essential requirement for your appointment at the Consulate. If you receive a sealed black envelope, DO NOT OPEN IT! You must present it closed to your Consular appointment.
