MEDICAL EXAM
Necessary for the residence visa process

"The United States Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) requires all immigrant visa applicants and some non-immigrant visa applicants, regardless of age, to be examined by a physician authorized by the United States government before receiving a visa".

Before the appointment:

The date of your interview appointment is indicated in the letter you received from the National Visa Center or from the Applicant Assistance Center (CAS). IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to have the complete results of the medical examination BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT AT THE CONSULATE; therefore, we suggest you arrange the medical examination procedures one or two days in advance.

Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or petitioner. If dad, mom or petitioner cannot go, they must send a notarized letter with the seal and signature of the notary.

By indications of the US Consulate in Cd. Juárez and in accordance with the preventive measures for the control of risks due to COVID-19, during your consular appointment, your companions will be able to wait comfortably in the areas that we have prepared for them either in the clinic facilities or in our WWA (Welcome and Waiting Area), located next to the Consulate.

REMEMBER: During the application and interview process for a visa you must tell the truth and provide complete and correct information. Failing to do so, the processing of your visa may be delayed or you may be found ineligible for a visa, which otherwise it might have been approved.
